Golden Visa or Golden Solidarity Visa

The Golden Visa program offers Portuguese citizenship to an individual who makes a financial investment in Portugal. The opportunities through the Portugal Golden Visa investment program are vast and varying with selections in business ventures, donations, and capital transfer.

The Golden Solidarity Visa is a new modality that will allow foreigners to obtain a residence permit in Portugal by investing 250 thousand euros in social projects. This investment will be allocated to infrastructure and equipment to support the integration of immigrants in vulnerable situations. Unlike the traditional golden visa, there is no financial return for the investor beyond residency.

They can both be a bit complex due to all legal procedures to consider, in particular in light of recent changes. It is paramount that your Visa application meet the most recent Portuguese laws and requirements.
